Batman: Gotham Knight

Journal

The Batman: Gotham Knight DVD has been out for about a week, but I finally had a chance to take a look at it. Oh mercy...that satisfies some serious Batman cravings. *.*

Even though the movie comes out in another four days, if you're a fan then you have to see this. It pretty much has something for everyone, and it's set in six episodes with different animation in each, but the stories (loosely) run along the same plot. When it came time for the episode Field Test, you could see that the animators were basing Bruce Wayne's appearance on Christian Bale, except that thanks to the Japanese Anime style, we're talking switch-hitter bishounen; I kid you not.

And with the amazing Kevin Conroy's voice? Oh boy. #^.^#

With the episode Working Through Pain, I couldn't help but notice that though they did finally give Bruce blue eyes,
04
-He also ended up looking like Terry from Batman Beyond. Only, you know, moodier. XD

So all in all, it was really enjoyable even if some of the bat-suit designs quite frankly sucked and they could have had more time with the baddies that they did show like Killer Croc and Scarecrow.

I can't wait for Friday. <3

Journal

It is the start of a new month and I might as well change my journal since the old one was starting to bore me.

Gaia is pretty much all I've been doing lately and it was the subject of a quick poll I made here on DA. And thanks to all those who've added/allowed me to add to my friends list. <3

And I've been thinking of creating an art shop there. Just something small with a couple of slots open every now and then, but for the life of me I don't even know what I should begin to charge. Users on that site have different pricing when it comes to headshot/torso, chibi style/normal, and then if you want a full body I see that you usually have to be "bribed", lmao. If there are any of you on Gaia that have experience with art shops there, I'd really appreciate some input as to a price quote. #^.^#

Anyone besides me going crazy because of the heat yet? XD

The other day, or week, or whatever, I ran across an old television series on SciFi called Kindred: The Embraced. I'll warn you now that I pretty much watch anything that has to do with Vampires, no matter how tacky it is, and yes, I admit, the first couple of episodes I LOL'd.
But I somehow I managed to watch the rest of the 8 episodes, and when I went to look it up online I found out that it was classified as a soap opera too, which explained a lot, O_o It only ran for one season because its main character played by Mark Frankel died in a motorcycle accident...which kind of saddened me because he was about the only actor in there that I liked, besides Stacy Haiduk.

I recognized a few of the other actors, including one who had a part in the series Angel, because their just isn't anything else on at five o'clock in the morning. :3

Also, I've finally been exploring GaiaOnline. I must be the only one left on the internet that hasn't made an account there yet. -_- I really like the option they give to change the avatar's gender and your username!, even if it is only twice. That's a lot more then some sites offer. XDD *pokes DA*
